Leading Management School Since 1974.
The International School of Tourism Sciences is a tourism business
school, which educates future managers for the tourism-hotel sector.
The School, which was founded in a university framework, then moved
on and became one of the world's first institutions to develop a science
for an overall tourism management at a time when tourism was still
considered a technique limited to the management of hotels.
Thanks to the innovative role it has played down the years the School
today is unique in its genre, recognized in Italy and abroad.
Since 1987, following an official agreement between the Italian Government
and the World Tourism Organization, the School has become one of the
WTO's Education and Training Centers, a group of 61ite establishments
providing training at university, and post-graduate levels in the
tourism-hotel sector.
The School's international vocation is confirmed by the almost 2500
students from 122 countries who have attended its courses in the first
22 years.
The teaching staff is composed of almost 50 University professors
with a specific knowledge of the phenomenon and highly qualified experts
with a confirmed theoretical basis knowledge.
The Director and founder of the School is Professor Albert Sessa who
has 34 years of international experience in this field and who was
nominated as a candidate for the post of Secretary General of the
World Tourism Organization by the Italian Government in 19 international
Didactic-Scientific Committee and Fiorella Bossi, the administrate
of the School, work longside Professor Sessa.
The School has a specialized, computerized library with about 5000
books while some 40 scientific periodicals from all over the world
are also available.
